If you don’t have an account, you will need to create one
Once logged in, you will need to click on the green “Register” button to the left of your name
On the registration page make sure you include your mailing address, email address, cell #, and US Lacrosse membership number:
Your US Lacrosse membership must be good through a month after the last day of the season you're coaching
Pass a background check:
You will be redirected to NCSI to initiate a background check if you don't have a current one on file with us
At the very end of the background check process, you must click the maroon-colored “Continue” button at the bottom of the page to finish your registration in our coaches database:
This will take you back to our website so that you can sign off on our Participation Waiver and Code of Conduct (and also indicate your shirt and hoodie size)
3) Complete the online SafeSport training (free):
US Lacrosse will prompt you to take this training when you renew your US Lacrosse membership
This is a 1-time requirement that takes about 90 minutes to complete

Click on "SafeSport Training" (under "Quick Links" on right side of page)
Click on "Start your SafeSport training":

4) Current concussion training certificate (free):
Certificate must be < 12 months old
Email your certificate of completion to
If you need to take the training, take the NFHS online concussion class here (takes 30 minutes)

5) US Lacrosse level 1 online coaching classes (free):
Description:
"Level 1 is designed to introduce coaches to the responsibilities and philosophies of coaching and how to provide a safe and athlete-centered environment that emphasizes positive growth and sportsmanship. The Level 1 curriculum provides the tools to teach lacrosse effectively to players of all ages. This baseline training is relevant for all lacrosse coaches, regardless of experience."

6) US Lacrosse level 2 online coaching classes (free):
Description:
"Level 2 is tactically and practically focused. Coaches will receive detailed instruction on building the tactical elements of their team based on overarching principles for offense, defense and transition. The Level 2 curriculum is geared toward coaching players who have an understanding of the basic skills and objectives of the game. Coaches will also learn how practice planning fits into overall tactical objectives for their season."
